OUR APPROACH

A transparent, comprehensive viewpoint, starting from the ground up.
We pursue a systems-based approach, with a conscious effort toward achieving long-term, tangible impacts and acting in an ethical, transparent, and fiscally responsible fashion. Our multifaceted perspective is built on the three pillars of service, research, and advocacy. We bring a critical viewpoint to all of our work and subject our programs to rigorous evaluations.
HEALTHY BEGINNINGS, HEALTHY LIVES

We start at the very beginning, with one life at a time.
Development starts in the womb. By investing in the health of women, we can ensure that each child has a healthy beginning and, in turn, is prepared to lead a healthy life. This, to us, is what it truly means to change the world – one person at a time. PHP's Omukazi Namagara Program is dedicated toward these goals.
ACCESS TO SAFE WATER

In pursuit of a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Addressing poverty and ill health requires multipronged strategies. That's why we don't limit our work to any single area. To support the health of its partner communities, PHP constructed seventy-six 20,000-liter rainwater harvesting tanks for public use. The tanks provide vital sources of clean water throughout the year.
JOIN THE CAUSE

Partnership is what makes us who we are.
As our name says, we are rooted in partnership. We collaborate with government institutions, universities, other organizations, and generous donors to further our work. Collectively, our partnerships give us unique strength to solve the constant challenges we face.
